Optometrists/Refractionists ( Positions: 2)

This involves screening of patients and their refraction apart from the use of various ophthalmic diagnostic equipment . It would also entail in managing the patient database on our special software and using it for various research and clinical projects.

A Graduation / Fellowship/ (Diploma with experience) in Optometry is required.

 

 Registered General Nurse ( Positions: 2)

The involves theatre and clinic management, refractive/ophthalmic surgery duties and pre and post surgery assessments.

Theatre coordination/management experience is required, whilst ophthalmic experience is desirable. The key qualities of the successful candidate will be an understanding of nursing standards, commitment to delivery of exceptional patient care and a proactive approach to management & ongoing professional development. Experience of Inventory control is also a requirement.

The Person

An experienced nurse manager who enjoys working in a busy and dynamic environment. You will be a team player who remains calm and effective under pressure. You will be motivated by challenges and have good organisational skills. A positive and innovative outlook is desirable.

 

Ophthalmic Technician/ Patient Counsellor ( Positions: 2)

This role involves performing clinical and ancillary duties for the appropriate diagnosis and treatment/surgery of patients along with theatre duties.

Training will be provided for all responsibilities involving the use of some basic equipment and adherence to protocols. Competence will be certified before the technician can work without supervision. Accountability for all responsibilities remains with the Ophthalmologist

Prior Experience /Training in Ophthalmics would be a distinct advantage.

The Person

This position is suited to an experienced auxillary assistant who would like to develop their career in ophthalmics.

 

 

Receptionist ( Position: 2)

This role involves handling the reception area, with patient appointments on telephone , coordinating surgical dates, referring doctors and patient flow.

 

The Person

This position is suited to a female with warm and pleasant personality and loves working in a busy environment  and has reasonable command over Hindi, Gujarati and working English.
